What a day, what a day.
The supreme court ruled to legalize gay marriage today in a tight vote 5-4. Its been a momentous & emotional day, exchanging celebratory calls and texts with friends (and strangers) and taking a minute to take it all in and realize my daughter will never know that there was a time when gays weren't allowed to marry. It is an historic moment and it will shift the way homosexuality is accepted in this country. I am feeling optimistic of a future where love and acceptance trump fear and judgement. Let's keep it moving forward.
